What drives an Aeldari to embrace a life of piracy? The desire for wealth and renown? The promise of restoring a long lost noble house to its former glory? Or perhaps a personal ethos that laughs in the face of impending doom? In this case, all of the above.
The Fairlight Raiders are a mercenary crew of Aeldari Corsairs, under the command of "Prince" Kael'is Serenti, and backed by the considerable wealth of Lady Ylleth. This coterie of voidscarred travel the galaxy and the Webway aboard the Fairlight, an elegant and nimble starship predating the fall of the Aeldari empire.
The crew of the Fairlight have been secretly hired to conduct raids against Imperial ships in Occularia Waypoint by a high ranking official from Vigilus, with the goal of undermining the rule of Duke Armentanus. With the appearance of Fulminating Antipathy, fate now finds them in the middle of a more overt and deadly situation.
